Portavadie booms

Well, perhaps booms is a bit of an exaggeration, but over the past weeks I’ve noticed that the popularity of our Portavadie page has remained relatively high, having jumped from being a page that was hardly ever accessed, it now keeps floating around the top ten.

Guessing something might be going on there, a quick hunt for any news soon provided the answer, and it seems that what were once wild stories of development there – which never developed into anything – have finally started to materialise. Portavadie now has a marina with over 200 berths available, and there’s a hotel under construction nearby.

All they need now is enough people to find the place, and they’ll be in business. At least they’re not likely to go hungry, since there’s already a fish farm established there.
