Trump lashes out after Supreme Court decision on his financial records
“The Supreme Court never should have let this ‘fishing expedition’ happen, but they did,” Trump said in a statement. “This is something which has never happened to a President before, it is all Democrat-inspired in a totally Democrat location, New York City and State, completely controlled and dominated by a heavily reported enemy of mine, Governor Andrew Cuomo.”
1) Manhattan AG Cy Vance had to establish grounds/just cause to get access to records ….so…not a fishing expedition
2) ex president; former president…the previous guy….. etc
3) True, NYC & State are Democrat held…. but Cy Vance was ELECTED by the people of Manhattan to post of AG independent of Cuomo (HE WON unlike someone else) !! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyrus_Vance_Jr.#2009_Manhattan_District_Attorney_election (in other words citing Cuomo is total red herring)
Note I didn’t formulate the above, but it’s close enough.
Also…
It never happened to another president before because: A) every other President released their taxes and B) No other president was as blatantly and morally corrupt (as Trump).
Even I, with my useless memory, can trawl up a recollection of him bragging about his tax records and making them available – so what’s changed?
That someone IS actually going to look at them under a court order?
That someone might actually find something naughty?
That there has not been a fire (or server outage), and the records are available?
MORON (that’s an insult to morons)!
