It will be interesting to watch what happens to the disgusting combination of Alex Jones and InfoWars, politely described as something normal people would want to scrape off the soles of their shoes before walking into their own homes, preferably through one of those disinfectant trays as used on farms to prevent the spread of infection.
Given the fortune he amassed from his hate based career, the subject must surely have syphoned off enough money to ensure a comfortable future (he will surely never go cold or hungry), despite being sued (and losing), and there are already claims that his wealthy fans will step in to buy up all the auction items, and Jones’s so-called ‘Free Speech’ organisation will resurface under another guise, to continue the same hate campaigns.
Jones lost a case for over $1 billion after defaming the Sandy Hook families, but was offered settlement at ‘only’ $85 million over 10 years. I’ve stopped reading any detail since letting him off in any way isn’t really a good idea, and have no idea where this is going.
The ‘Car Crash TV’ of convicted felon Donald Trump is currently more interesting. Or should that be ‘alarming’, since he has not been barred from running for election as President of the US? Even just typing that seems WRONG!
Notably, InfoWars was banned by Facebook, YouTube, Apple, Spotify, and Pinterest – which Jones obviously went on to claim “The enemy wants to cut off our funding to destroy us. If you don’t fund us, we’ll be shut down.”
One to watch?
